Love Links Us
- Two hands intertwined form the heart on this sachet design. Inspired by a
child's artwork, this design features the use of a Mill Hill ceramic button. February
2003 issue of The Cross Stitcher. |

|
|

Gazing Ball
Bunny – Using Wisper threads,
Mill Hill flower beads, and an oversized marble, this design “pops” on yellow
linen. Even better, place it on a
beautiful green small moiré box from Sudberry House like we did. The Cross Stitcher. |
|||
|
|
Twined Thread – A romantic quotation of Robert Burton
stitched for my sweetheart. Unfortunately, the February 2004 issue of The Cross
Stitcher did not indicate that the trailing thread was to pass
through the eye of a needle (preferably gold!) and the needle is to pass
through the heart like Cupid’s arrow. |

|
Tending Sheep – Cleverly finished as a pillowcase and matching tissue box cover, keep in mind that their wooly friends like to wander. This design features the use of an alternating specialty stitch, wherein every other stitch within the sheep bodies is a loopy stitch. See the June 2004 issue of The Cross Stitcher for diagram. |
